A stay at West Acre House is an invitation to enjoy the garden as well as the house. Our acre of grounds wraps around the Edwardian villa, with lawns, mature trees and borders that change with the seasons.
Find your favourite corner
Take a wander through the planting, look out for the statues tucked amongst the greenery, or choose a seat and simply enjoy being outside. The sheltered patio is another place to pause during your stay.
The long herbaceous border was planted in 2022 and adds colour through the growing season. Elsewhere, established shrubs and trees give the garden its structure, with different views to discover as you walk around the house.
Bring the garden indoors
When you are ready to come inside, the Garden Room lounge looks out over the grounds through windows on three sides. It is available throughout your stay, whether you would like to read, chat or plan a day out.
Find out more about the house and garden, or explore our four individually furnished rooms. Bruce and Jeannette are happy to help you choose a room and plan your visit.
